Community
As a church we love to bless and support the communities around us, showing the love of God to those in need. Compassion is in our DNA and so here you can find more information about the various projects we run, many of which are based in our new Life Vineyard Compassion Centre.
We are always looking for new people to get involved in our projects so if you would like to start volunteering please click below and fill out the form to let us know your availability.
Byker Pantry
For many years the Byker Pantry has been supporting dozens of families through offering heavily discounted food and household items but also so much more, as a place of love, friendship and encouragement.
If you’d like to find out more you can watch the ITV news report below and we’d love to hear from you if you would like to get involved
Pop Up Pantry
The Pop Up Pantry is a mobile weekly half price discount store supporting local communities in many locations across north tyneside. The first site opened in Wallsend in May 2022 and quickly grew into a thriving hub in the community. Currently there are two sites open in Wallsend and Benwell, soon to be more..

Grassboots
Grassboots is a project that aims to support children with new or nearly new footwear that will enable them to participate in sport, outdoor play, school and other activities. We know that exercise is so important for physical and mental health and we want to do our bit in making sure children in our region are not excluded from this due to hardship.
If you have new or newly new shoes that you would like to donate, or would like to organise collecting from your place of work, school, friendship group etc we would love to hear from you.
Noah’s Ark
Noah’s Ark is a term time toddler and baby group that runs at both of our locations.
This community group serves local families and gives small children a safe space to play, enjoy treats at snack time and join in with stories and songs. We aim to share the good news of God’s love for each parent (or Grand-parent) and child that comes along, and are excited at the opportunity to bless the local families around both locations.
Mondays - The Allen, Wallsend - 10am - 11:30am
Fridays - Marley Hill Community Centre - 10am - 11:30am
During term time.
What’s your idea?
If you have an idea for a way of blessing our region, however big or small, we would love to hear about it and see how we can help you to make it a reality. We love nothing more than seeing people in our community responding to what God has placed on their heart and stepping out in faith.
