Community at Life Vineyard
From community centred projects that run out of our Compassion Centre at Arden House, to local groups supporting and providing a fun and safe space for residents living nearby both Life Vineyard Church sites, we are dedicated to our Compassion ministries and love to see the local community come together in our spaces.
Byker Pantry
The Byker Pantry has been supporting the local community in Byker for many years now. The aim of this community project is to support the people of Byker, giving them more than just food, this half price shop also acts as a hub for the locals, a place to come and connect with each other and engage in many other form of support. The friendly team are always happy to go the extra mile for the customers.
Pop Up Pantry
The Pop Up Pantry is a half price food co-operative which does just as it says - Pops Up! The travelling food store arrives in different locations on a weekly basis, to provide the community with a social hub, where they can access significant discounts on their weekly food shop. This Project began in May 2022 in Wallsend and is already now open in another two locations…
Grassboots
Grassboots is a project that aims to specifically support children who need them the most, with new or nearly new footwear that will enable them to participate in grass roots sport, outdoor play, school and other activities
The Lamp Cafe
A Community Cafe run out of Marley Hill that is a hub of activity every Thursday morning during term time.
